Kirstin Bouse is passionate about promoting positive transitions into, and experiences of, motherhood. She also is determined to educate the community on mental health and wellbeing and plays her part in removing the stigma associated with seeking professional support. As such, Kirstin regularly appears in the local and national media and in online and national publications.
Kirstin is generally available for media comment on many aspects of parenthood including; the transition to parenting, perinatal depression and anxiety, working mothers, mindfulness and conscious parenting. However, given her 20-years’ of experience as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, Kirstin can also comment on trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationships, family breakdown, criminal behaviour, child protection and fostering. She is experienced in assisting parents with children’s mental health issues anxiety, peer relationships, bullying, self-harm, social media and cyber safety.
